What to do

- •Drinking and wet nappies or toilet trips
- •Breathing: rate, noise, effort
- •Alertness, play and mood
- •Temperature, with the time it was taken
Call emergency services if
- •Breathing is fast, noisy or the lips turn blue
- •The child is hard to wake, floppy or does not respond
- •A rash does not fade when pressed with a glass
- •A seizure, or any fever in a baby under 3 months
